Hello. My name is Sue Ticotin, owner of Defining Elegance, specialists in custom window treatments and luxury bedding. In 2003, my original business, S & L Interior Fashions, was launched out of my desire to create a business that would incorporate my passion for creative sewing, design, and working with beautiful fabrics and trims.

Each custom product is crafted with careful attention to detail and workmanship. From the first consultation to the installation, our focus is on creating beautiful custom window treatments and other soft furnishings that clients will love for years to come.

As our window coverings business grew, we knew we wanted to offer our clients other quality products to meet their home décor needs. Our goal was realized when we added fine linens to our list of products and created a web site to offer them on-line. These quality silk and fine Italian linens come from some of the top leaders in the home textile industry such as SDH, Cottimaryanne, Signoria, Errebicasa, Legacy, Alexandre Turpault, Empress Silk, Sahelia, and Zoeppritz.

In July, 2005, we formed the company now known as Defining Elegance LLC.
